Tires stolen from police vehicle

MULTIPLE WARRANTS ON HIM

On Nov. 8 at approximately 12:30 a.m., a police member was approached by security at a 50th Street establishment about a subject doing drugs in the washroom. Upon police intervention, the subject, a 28-year-old male, fled the scene. Police were able to find out the subject’s identity and that he had multiple warrants out on him. Later in the day at 10:35 p.m., the subject was arrested at the Energy Centre. He was charged with obstruction and had six outstanding warrants.

STOLEN TRUCK

On Nov. 9 at approximately 3:56 a.m., police received a call of a stolen vehicle. A black ’99 Dodge Ram, licence BDB 9158, was stolen at a 50th Street establishment. The doors were locked, but keys were missing. There were no suspects.

SUSPENDED DRIVER

On Nov. 9 at approximately 6:10 a.m., police pulled a vehicle over during a routine traffic stop on Highway 28. A 22-year-old female from Bonnyville was driving a vehicle under a 24-hour suspension. The vehicle was towed.

ALL COOPED OUT

Between 9:30 p.m. Nov. 9 and 3:09 a.m. on Nov. 10, an intoxicated man was arrested for allegedly utter threats to members of the RCMP. A 37-year-old man from Elk Point was arrested at the Energy Centre and released on $500 cash bail. He had a court date on Nov. 14.

SPITEFUL MOVE

On Nov. 14 at approximately 7:26 a.m., police received a call that an RCMP vehicle had its four tires and rims stolen. The vehicle was parked at a 55 Street automotive establishment in Cold Lake overnight for maintenance and the incident occurred between 6 p.m. on Nov. 13 and 7 a.m. on Nov. 14. Police are requesting if anyone has information regarding this or any other crime to call them at 780-594-3302.

TRAFFIC COMPLAINT

The RCMP would like to remind large truck drivers travelling on the highways to remember to follow the rules of the road. There have been a number of complaints lately due to the increase in large truck traffic and lack of signalling, among other things.
