Ontario’s police watchdog has cleared a London officer of any wrongdoing in the death of an accused arsonist who collapsed while being admitted to the city’s jail after a routine court appearance.

But the head of the Special Investigations Unit (SIU) said evidence in the case “raises a cause for concern regarding the care received by the complainant while in cells at the courthouse.”
